The Energica EGO burst on the scene at EICMA in 2013. It was then a culmination of years of electric racing competition, with numerous victories including the 2010 TTXGP European Championship and runner-up for the 2011 TTXGP World Championship.
Dorna has selected Energica to be single manufacturer for the
FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup until 2022. As a result, we’ve had an intensive technical development at the highest possible level for performance and sophistication of any electric motorcycle in the world.

In 2019 we launched our 21.5 kWh battery platform to the public, adding to our original and unique features of superb power, top speed and DC Fast Charging with the longest range of any electric motorcycle you can buy. The ”RS” Version available in February 2021 now adds even better acceleration than ever before – if you can handle it.

Energica took a massive step in EV technology by incorporating our extensive MotoE™ race experience.
The upgraded Energica EGO+ has a newly designed 21.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that has 62% more capacity yet weighs less than before. Far more powerful than any other electric motorcycle, the EGO+ also enjoys enhanced maneuverability. The new battery gives the longest range of any electric motorcycle, ideal for long distance rides or to enjoy more laps at the track.
For devotees of speed, we now offer the RS Version – the VCU implements a new mapping and parameterization, underlining even more the performance and exciting character derived from the Energica experience in MotoE™.
When the Energica EGO burst on the motorcycle scene, nothing like it yet existed.
It offered the highest top speed and sustained performance of any electric motorcycle coupled with a surprisingly nimble handling even at lower speeds; immense torque and blistering acceleration; the most sophisticated electronics, and uniquely: DC Fast Charging as standard.
Since then constant upgrades have taken place and it maintains the edge even after other entrants to the field.
Our base version has the 13.4 kWh battery and internally oil-cooled motor, linear acceleration with peak 200 Nm – 148 lb-ft on tap all the way from 0 to 4,700 rpm and top 107 kW – 145 Hp spreading 4,900 rpm to 10,500 rpm. Or opt for the EGO+ with longer range and even more torque.

Considering the extraordinary performance of the existing Energica line-up it might seem unnecessary, even absurd, to go further still. Nevertheless we’ve received numerous requests from worshippers of the God of Speed and now for 2021 we’ve obliged our fans.
The EGO+ RS Version is engineered with software changes to the Vehicle Control Unit and a modified drive train allowing improved acceleration from 0-100 km/h – 0-60 mph of more than two-tenths of a second and additional increases in velocity all the way to the top speed of 240 km/h – 150 mph.
To handle this additional power the final drive chain has been beefed up to a Regina 15/44 525 O-Ring Chain.
RS Decals on the lower fairing indicate that this EGO+ is something special. All RS Version motorcycles come with additional accessories free of charge: the Rear Stand and Ergal Bobbins set and the Stretch Indoor Cover.

For riders and racing enthusiasts, Energica offers a special Kit Corsa Clienti for EGO+ and EGO+ RS.
Kit Corsa Clienti includes a VCU firmware upgrade derived from the Ego Corsa that is a protagonist in the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup.
Out of CRP Technology experience, a racing fairings kit created from professional 3D printing in high performance Windform® composite materials, made up of carbon fibre and fibreglass.
The kit includes the taillight cover, the covers for the headlamp cluster and for the turn indicators.
