The Energica EVA Ribelle is the naked version of the Energica EGO+, with the same torque, power, acceleration and range; the only key differences being riding position and top speed.


If you want a true electric hyper-naked, aggressive with an urban mojo, or an assertive-yet-upright riding position instead of the typical track day crouch, choose the EVA Ribelle. But like its cousin the EsseEsse9+, the EVA Ribelle easily transforms into a long-distance bike with the simple addition of side panniers, windshield and tank bag. New for 2022 we also offer the EVA Ribelle with the Tricolore fairing and bodywork.


The Energica EVA Ribelle has the same linear 215 Nm (159 lb-ft) torque as the EGO+, the same 21.5 kWh long-range lithium-ion battery with up to 420 km (261 miles) of City range, the same suspension and performance options, and all the technological amenities. Not enough? You can opt for the “RS Version” for even more off-the-line, liter-bike beating velocity.


To convince even the most dubious IC skeptics, we've now introduced a new EMCE motor and inverter - reducing weight further still while upping to peak 126 kW (169 Hp), with up to 198 km (123 miles) in Highway range, plus of course, DC Fast Charging. EMCE is standard for both versions of the EVA Ribelle.

ENERGICA EVA RIBELLE TRICOLORE

Eva Ribelle Tricolore is new for 2022.

Elegant yet powerful, the Tricolore is a tribute to Italy, its centuries of brilliant engineering and aggressive spirit of competition, rendered in full Energica style. Every detail has been obsessively crafted: from the color scheme and modern lettering of the MY2022, the subtle decals on the fairings and even the rims. Never has an electric motorcycle shown such classic, yet futuristic beauty.

Eva Ribelle Tricolore also embodies those same Energica values, namely the latest electric technology, sustainability and the prestige of made in Italy. The EMCE engine, standard on Energica Eva Ribelle Tricolore, provides daunting acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.6 sec. and a maximum speed limited to 200 km / h. Thanks to the 21.5 kWh battery the Eva Ribelle like all Energica motorcycles, also enjoys the longest range of any electric motorcycle, particularly at higher speeds.

ENERGICA EVA RS

By popular request, Energica Motor Company has added the RS Version to our new line-up with availability to customers as early as February 2021.

The RS Version has a revised drivetrain and VCU software that plunges 0-100 kmh (0-60 mph) times further still; and the new EMCE motor and inverter lightens the EVA Ribelle to 260 kg (573 lbs.) while upping peak horsepower from 145 Hp to 169 Hp. On top of this, range is extended up to 10% and maintenance intervals have been reduced by three to four times.

In the Eva Ribelle RS Version the VCU implements a new mapping and parameterization allowing improved acceleration from 0-100 km/h - 0-60 mph of more than two-tenths of a second : 2.6 sec 0-100kmh, 0-60 mph.

To handle this additional power the existing final drive chain has been changed to a Regina 15/44 525 O-Ring Chain. RS Decals are displayed on the lower fairing.

EMCE motor

Energica unveils the new EMCE Motor and Inverter, a significant step forward in electric propulsion for motorcycles. EMCE is a wholly new HSM motor and inverter exclusively co-engineered by Energica and Mavel.
Motor and inverter now share a liquid-cooling system, resulting in a simpler and more effective design with reduced size and greater thermal efficiency. Riders will really appreciate the benefits: lighter weight and a lower center of gravity for enhanced agility; higher peak performance; increased range especially at higher speeds; and substantially reduced maintenance intervals.

ADAPTIVE CONTROL
Because motor and inverter are developed in tandem, the inverter can provide Adaptive Control.
This means it is able to select the right control parameters as they vary: the torque required by the vehicle, the engine speed, the operating mode of the system, the temperature and other factors that identify the operating status of the powertrain. Adaptive Control ensures that the inverter can always operate the system as efficiently as possible, while extending the operating limits of the system itself.
WEIGHT
Engine and inverter are 10 kg (22 lb.) lighter than our previous design, despite providing better thermal efficiency and more power, reducing EVA Ribelle weight to 260 kg (573 lbs.). Handling for the motorcycle is enhanced as the smaller size also ensures a lower center of gravity.
POWER
Continuous power delivered by the motor is increased slightly to 147 Hp/110 kW yet peak power ramps up to 169 Hp/126 kW. Combined with the enhanced acceleration of the RS Version and you have far and away the best performance of any electric bike.
RANGE
Weight reduction helps at all speeds, but the real benefit is increased range at higher highway speeds thanks to greater efficiency that brings lower working temperatures for the new ECME motor. At lower speeds, range increases from 5% to 10% according to riding style. Great news for mileage makers.
MAINTENANCE
Our motorcycles already require far less maintenance than for IC bikes, but until now, needed transmission/motor oil changes every 10,000 km/6,000 miles. No longer. Transmission oil is now changed only every 30,000 km/18,600 miles and Motor/Inverter coolant every 45,000 km/28,000 miles. Now you can ride and (almost) forget.
WHO IS MAVEL?
Energica chose Mavel to collaborate with for the technical engineering and design of the new EMCE Motor and Inverter because of the wealth of experience of this renowned Italian company in creating and manufacturing electric powertrains of all sizes and applications. It didn't hurt that Mavel is based in an old hydro-electric power plant in the rugged Valle D'Aosta near the Swiss-Italian Alps just three hours north of Modena with truly stunning motorcycle roads everywhere in their vicinity.
